To foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where educators and pre-service teachers can explore and implement innovative educational technologies, with a particular focus on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). Our goal is to empower educators with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to harness the potential of GenAI to enhance teaching and learning, while addressing its challenges and ensuring ethical and equitable use.

Lydia Scholle-Cotton
Lydia is an Education Ph.D. student at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Her research focuses on Ethics and the exciting possibilities of integrating A.I. in educational settings. She is also interested in topics such as Academic Integrity, Access & Inclusion, and the fascinating world of Big Data use in education.
Peter J. Glinos, OCT. MEd
Peter Glinos is a PhD. Candidate at Queen's University’s Faculty of Education in Kingston, Ontario. After becoming a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers, he served as a high school teacher for three years in downtown Toronto, teaching history, biology, and the general sciences. At this time, he was also the school SERT (Special Education Resources Teacher), working with families, teachers, and students to construct individual education plans (IEP’s) to help struggling learners. Following his Master of Education, he continued his studies as a doctoral student at Queen’s University, where he lectured as the instructor for the history education course, Teaching History. He is now a member of the Theory and History of Education Research Group and serves as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Canadian Association of Foundations of Education. His research interests include: history of education, History of education policy, history of the philosophy of education; and history education.
Malek El Kouzi
Malek is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Queen's University and holds a Master's in Information Technology (Digital Media) from Carleton University. He serves as a Professor at Algonquin College and a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University. Malek, a Microsoft Azure AI certified, is passionate about integrating augmented reality, a technology powered by AI, into science education at elementary levels. Through his publications, he has crafted multiple augmented reality tools to enhance student comprehension in lessons.
